Hi! I am I'Asia "Asia" Scarlett-Jones, the founder of ASJ Law Office. 

There are many divorce and family law attorneys in New York City. Very few have my path.

I started in public defense. From there, I worked as a court attorney alongside a family court judge, the same kind of judge who decides the cases my clients bring to me today. Then I moved into private practice, representing high net worth clients.

That experience allows me to relate to clients from every walk of life, and it taught me how important it is for families to protect themselves before, during, and after marriage with prenups, amicable divorces, and post marital agreements. 

My personal story of being a product of divorced parents taught me something else: divorce does not have to be ugly, and it should not drag on for years. 

The legal system can be both daunting and overwhelming to most, however, my job is to guide you through it. 

Change can be stressful, at ASJ Law Office we ensure that you do not feel like you are alone in this process. It is my job to make sure you feel comfortable and well-equipped when making decisions regarding your family matters.
